“You’ll be so glad you gave this a try!”

We’re not what you’d call regular cyclists so something about the extra ‘electric’ help appealed in dealing with the rolling Dorset hills! Martin was an excellent guide and we had such a great morning exploring the beautiful countryside. Stunning scenery and the bikes were really easy to manage. If you’re in this part of the country and fancy trying a new way of seeing the surroundings, we would recommend Martin wholeheartedly! We hope to return and try a different tour next time.

“Electric bike to highest point in Dorset”

Enjoyed tour of Marshwood Vale on electric bikes, with partner, brother and sister-in-law. The sun even came out despite all the recent rain! It’s a great feeling on a steep uphill when you turn up the “assistance” to high and the bike surges forward despite only light pedalling. Had a good coffee break at garden table at the Bottle Inn, made it to top of highest hill in Dorset (900 feet), heard about Charles II escaping to France and about the shrine of Saint Wite. Thanks from all of us to Martin at Jurassic Electric.

“A real treat and a truly memorable experience which we will treasure forever”

Being transported through breathtaking countryside in a way which let the years roll away was both liberating and exhilarating. Well done Martin for providing such a superb therapy! Envious friends will be sure to follow suit. Thank you.

“Hidden Dorset revealed by electric bicycle”

We first heard of this from an article in the Mail On Sunday. We were fortunate to be able to make a booking for a September afternoon tour starting at Morcombelake from where we travelled north into deepest, darkest Dorset, the bits that are easily missed by the “rush to get there tourist”. Apart from the true beauty of the area one must mention how simple it was to use the bikes and just how simple they made climbing the steepest of hills. An element of fitness and competency is required but Martin will cater for your needs. Luckily all my family are regular cyclists and were able to enjoy this experience to the full. I just can not fault the experience at all and we would recommend this to anyone.

“A day to remember”

We saw a review of Martin’s electric bike tours in the ‘Dorset’ magazine whilst staying in Bournemouth for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. I had concerns as I have ‘dodgy knees and am rather unfit’. No problem said Martin, so the next day off we went to West Dorset. The weather was mixed but we had such fun and a real laugh with Martin. He made the trip so enjoyable, and the electric bikes were fantastic. We had to pedal, but never felt wacked out even going up the steepest hills. My wife and I would recommend Martin’s tours to anyone (of any age) – such great fun (we want one each now)! Thank you Martin and I wish you every success with this venture.

“BEST day in Dorset!”

We came from Boston to a wedding in Dorset, and had only 3 days to explore the area. The very first day we had our best & most fun excursion of a wonderful holiday – an electric bike tour. What a perfect way to not only SEE the beautiful scenery, but to BE IN IT. The tour includes little surprises, tidbits of local lore & just the right amount of history, stops for breathtaking vistas, and hidden gems to explore. We would definitely do this again! Thank you Martin for an unforgettable day.

“Great afternoon’s adventure”

One of our party picked up the details of the tours from a web search of things to do in the area. We met up with Martin, our tour guide on a very wet Saturday on the August Bank Holiday weekend. The bikes were a breeze, easy to figure out and an absolute joy to whizz up hills. We toured beautiful inland spots we would otherwise have missed, visiting an ancient church and also having the optional extra of a bit of a hill climb (on foot) thrown in for good measure. I will definitely do it again next time I am back in Dorset. Anyone who can ride a bike will love this experience.

“Dorset hills made easy!”

We had a great afternoon exploring the beautiful Dorset countryside on these fabulous electric bikes! The bikes are really comfortable and easy to control and we couldn’t believe how straightforward they made cycling uphill. Martin’s guide to the local villages and countryside was an added bonus. We are really looking forward to going on another tour when we are next back in Dorset.

“Try this once – you’ll be back!”

My sister organised this as we were visiting from Australia, and it was really the best afternoon we had in the UK. Martin provides not only the bikes, but also wet-weather gear and panniers. We looked at him in disbelief as he told us to try out our bikes on a steep incline – facing uphill. But our sighs turned to whoops of delight as our feet pushed on the pedals and the bikes surged up the road as if by magic. It didn’t take us long to get the hang of it and soon we were enjoying stunning scenery, fresh air, sunshine and just enough local information to keep us interested without being overloaded. Brilliant – I definitely recommend it.

“Bride Valley by electric bike”

A brilliant afternoon. Our 1st go with electric bikes – they really take the ‘ouch’ out of hills, and allow you to enjoy the wonderful scenery. Thanks to Martin for his thoughtful and informative leading. We’d definitely recommend this for a fun way to explore the Dorset countryside.

“A fun way to spend a morning”

Three OAP’s looking for something different in a bike ride and wanting to check out electric bikes, we decided to go on one of Martin’s tours. Not knowing what to expect, we were surprised that we still cycled as normal but we didn’t need to get off to go uphill! Thank you Martin for a lovely, informative and fun ride.

“Floating silently through the Sunshine”

A wonderful morning with Martin, who was helpfulness itself. The countryside is beautiful, and peaceful, and the electric bikes did not destroy the peace at all. Despite the route being very hilly, we never felt we were having to make serious effort – real magic-carpet effect – and we are both OAPs! Amazing, actually.
