Our journey starts not far from the beach at Burton Bradstock but we soon make our way inland towards and then over the magnificent Eggardon Hill, Iron Age hill fort and site of an annual Kite Festival. You’ll enjoy outstanding views in all directions and we may even catch a glimpse of a herd of wild deer that reside nearby. From our high point, we then descend towards the pretty village of Powerstock and they’ll be time to enjoy a well earned drink at the local pub before returning to Burton via some ancient sunken lanes.
